Hiding ruler in design mode

Is there any way to hide the ruler in a a report in design mode.

I is causing me problems as it means that a sub-report does not start fully
adjusted to the left of the parent report when dsigning.
Since my sub-report is exactly the width of the page it means that the
parent page is too wide.

What can I do to fit it in?

Jon:

Simply bring up the subreport's properties and set its left property to 0 to
solve your problem.

It is already set to 0.
Problem is that it puts the sub-reports ruler at position 0 and not the
actual report itself.

Jonathon,
Set the Sub-report control left position to 0 (which is not the same
as the report which is used as the sub-report.) It's the control that
lets you set the Child/Parent fields.

I just ran a quick test using a line exactly at 0, both in the main
body and in the sub-report.
In Design View, because of the ruler, the lines were off the thickness
of the ruler. In Preview, however, the lines were exactly at the left
margin of both.

You do realize, I hope, that the left margin will not be at the exact
edge of the paper, as most printers have a minimum no print area.
In my case, the left side of the report for both the report and sub
report were at 0.25" from the left edge of the paper.
