High water mark issue

Karen

Until recently I have never had an issue with Outlook Express bouncing
messages with the message that I am close to the high water mark. I was
advised that I would have to go to the initial mail handler to delete there.
I am having this issue almost every day and it is getting to be a pain. Any
suggestions? Thanks, Karen

This is an Outlook Newsgroup, and you are talking about Outlook Express.
They are not the same.

You must go to the provider...if they offer web mail, you need to delete
there. Otherwise, you are going to use up your quota.

Outlook Express has nothing to do with it.

This is an error message from your ISP and not Outlook Express. Logon to
your web based mail account provided by your ISP and delete some messages
there. You can also configure Outlook Express not to leave a copy on the
server or have it automatically removed after x-days.

Note that this is an Microsoft Office Outlook forum.

Outlook Express is family of Internet Explorer and Outlook of the Office
family.

Good Luck!

Open OE
Tools | Accounts | Mail | select the mail account and select Properties on
the right side then Advanced tab...down low in Delivery Section you'll see
the option Leave copy on....

I don't use OE but look at the options in your account settings.
For further details ask in the OE newsgroup I pointed out.
