Highlighting Every Other Row Formula

A

Andrew Engelhart

I maintain a contact list of company names, contacts and
their respective phone numbers. Is there a quick formula
that I can apply to the entire sheet that will highlight
every other row so that each row stands out against the
next row when the sheet is printed?

You can use a conditional formatting formula -

=MOD(ROW(),2)=0

Hi Andrew

one way
select your worksheet (or the used range) and choose
format / conditional formatting
select formula is and type
=MOD(ROW(),2)=0
click on format
go to Patterns, choose a fill colour
click OK twice

Hope this helps
