Highlighting Text

Bob

I want to highlight test in a publisher document, but all
I seem to be able to to is flood fill color in the entire
text box. I've used the Help prompts and apparently there
is supposed to be a check box in front of the descriptive
phrase, "Show rectangle for text in Web graphic region"
under TOOLS > OPTIONS > GENERAL. But...my system has no
such descriptive phrase!!! I'm using the new Publisher
2003 . Can anyone help me to be able to highlight text in
a Publisher project? Thanks so much

There is no highlight feature like there is in Word. The workaround is to
create a rectangle and place it behind the text that you want to highlight,
making the text box transparent.

Bob, I am using Publisher from the Office 2003 suite.

I also use it for a newsletter. When I want to highlight some text I choose
the text and then choose "Font Color" from the tool bar, pick color and wha
la it is there.

Hope this helps.
