Highlighting the selected item in a combo box by making the item displayed in Bold characters.

Friends,
Is there a way of highlighting any particular item in a combo box by making it bold. For instance, I have the following names in my table in the Emp_Nm field:
1. Aston Villa
2. Villareal
3. Real Sociedad
4. Real Madrid
5. Athletico Madrid
The names are typed in the exact order as shown above.

I have a form which has a drop down combo box. Whenever, the user starts typing, say, Real Sociedad, the combo box, as it should, drop down and the name of Real Sociedad should be marked in bold.

Can anyone help me in this direction. Also, please let me know whether a similar process would hold good for list boxes.

Please refrain from using HTML or attachments (your stationery) in the
newsgroups. It bloats the messages and makes it more difficult (and
expensive) for those with dialup connections or who pay for their actual
connection time.

To answer your question, there are no special formatting options for
selected text in Access combo or list boxes. Stephen Lebans has done some
work with color coding rows in a list box that may be of help. It is in
Access 97, but should convert to later versions:
