Highlighting won't print

I use Office 2007 and have a HP C4150 All In One printer. I can't seem to get
any highlighted items to print. The print just comes out as regular print. My
printer is set to color. Can anyone help me out on this. dusty

I am using Word 2007 and can't get anything that I highlight to print as
highlighted text. It just comes out as plain text. I should have stated that
I appoligize.

I'm trying to understand you so bear with me. You've applied a highlight to
words and that highlight isn't printing. Any color or all colors?

I have the same questions as JoAnn, but also I thought of this --

Office Button | Word Options | Advanced. In the Print section, make sure you
don't have "draft quality" selected. You might also choose Office Button |
Print, click the Properties button, and see if you have anything like "draft
quality" specified in the printer properties themselves.

Did you apply the highlighting as part of reviewing and track changes?
(Wondering if it's related to Markup....)

Sorry JoAnn... Yes that it. I Highlight a word or paragraph, it shows up in
the print preview as being highlighted, but when I print is just shows up as
ordinary type, no highlighting. The rest of the program works great as far as
I tell. I have checked the printer options box to include highlighted text as
well.

Thanx for your patience
