hit counter

I'm using FrontPage 2003. Is there a way to prevent the hit counter from
incrementing when you go back to the home page? I was considering putting it
on a cover page, but then I found that you can move back to the cover page
by using IE's Back button and this also increments the counter.

Probably not with FP built in hit counter but you can get a great one
at http://www.statcounter.com/ Great tool and it's free. I have three
sites useing them and find the service to be excellent.
