holding down the shift key too long while in micorosft acces
s turned of my keyboard. I can not type any characters in any microsoft

That is very strange!

Try turning off your computer; unplug the keyboard, turn it over, and
tap it on the desk to loosen any crumbs or other material which may be
physically blocking the keys. Plug it back in and power up your
computer again.
