Holidays in MS Project

Is there a setting (or functionality) in MS Project that can be
manipulated which would allow me to populate a particular countries
statuatory holidays into a plan in one fell swoop, or can this only be
accomplished manually?

You can only do this manually by editing the Standard calendar or by
creating a new calendar. In versions prior to Microsoft Project 2007, you
must create every holiday instance individually. In the 2007 version, you
can create a recurring holiday and set the number of occurrences. Hope this
