Home Office, UK: cheapest way of linking two rooms, peripherals?

P

Piotr J. Masiak

remember this is UK: what is cheapest way of linking two rooms (telephone
cable means a very hard concrete wall in the wal!) so as to set up home
office and utilise all peripherals.
Wireless you might say: but as a pensioner I can't find a cheapish way of
doing this. (Young A.P. on limited budget.)
Any suggestions apart from move into same room- would be most welcome.
I use XP and Win2003 but with main option Word, Publisher, Frontpage ON and
others off for space sake on this machine: an INSPIRON 51500 (fast) v.
DIMENSION 4300. Both have 512MB ram, but laptop has DDR ram.

This has nothing whatsoever to do with MS Office - it is a hardware issue.
Suggest you post in a hardware group.
