Does the home page or index page have to be called " index html " or is "index htm" normal

I know lots of dump questions. My ISP webmaster or the man that runs the server, or what ever he is called said the main page has to be lised as HTML. On the site i'm putting together in FP2003 it just list's it as htm.

The home page must be whatever the host specifies...

depends on your server..... some use index.htm/html, some default.htm/html or
possibly home.htm/html

just rename it as you would any other file rightclick the file name in windows
explorer, and change the name!

Do not rename it in Windows Explorer unless you want to clobber your FP web
- Open the web in FP and rename it in FP
