Home page will not reset?

This is not front page related but I have been searching the web with no luck in finding a solution. Everytime I start my computer and open up Internet explorer my home page is not what I set it to be. I went into control panel, internet options and changed the home page but it will not stay. Everytime I restart my computer I get some other homepage when I open up internet explorer. WHat's causing this? how can I fix it
p.s I've tried spybot but didn't help

Check for spyware or application, also see if setting it to blank direct in IE under Tools |
Internet Options.

It does sound like your browser has been hi-jacke

Remember to BACK UP your registry, if you attempt to make any changes or consult with somebody regarding the registry before making changes

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.

Definite hijacking.

Do what the others recommend.

However, sometimes AdAware and Spybot S&D just don't catch them
all...nothing beats looking through your folders manually whenever something
"feels" strange with yer machine.
