Horizontal Marker at end of text? Removal?

I hit a key somehow turning on this horizontal line that marks the end of the text area in Word

It's driving me crazy to look at i

Any advice on what I hit and how I can toggle it back so that it doesn't appear

It looks like this ______ and it marks the end of where text can appear on the page.

This end-of-document marker, which is displayed only in Normal view, cannot
be removed.
