Hot Key for the button

Hi,
For my Access 2000 application, on the Main Menu screen,
there are seveal buttons allow the users to different
sceen. For each buttons, I tried to put hot key,
e.g. "Class Input" button, the caption will be "Class
&Input". So the user press "alt i" will activate the
button.
But the hot key seems not stable, sometime it works,
sometime it won't work?
Thanks for the advise.

Hi, Paul.

It's not a good idea to use the same value for the hot key on a form that is
already used on the menu. The default menu displayed while the form is in
Form View has &Insert (<ALT><I>) for inserting a new record into your form.
If you aren't using the default menu, then your menu will be different.

HTH.
