Hotmail and Outlook 2007

GMH Question

Having problems getting Outlook 2007 to sync with Hotmail account.
Have:
Installed Outlook Connector
Removed and re-established email accounts in Outlook.

Outlook connected with the Hotmail account but only downloaded 30% of the
folder content. The most important folders/messages weren't downloaded at
all. Inbox wasn't downloaded either.

Have tried every suggestion I could find on this site. Help!

GMH Question

Is this what you are suggesting I do, or are you trying to figure out if I
should disable it?

yes. after an attempted sync, check the log. it should give you some clues
about where the process is failing.

also - how large is your hotmail acct?

GMH Question

I've done what you recommended and have pulled up the log. However since I'm
not a technically inclined user, I have NO idea what it's telling me. Could
you offer any pointers? (I'd send it but it's HUGE!)

The size of the account is .004GB

GMH Question

Don't know if it's helpful, but these show up a few times:

Downloading done, Error code = 0x8004010f
Downloading done, Error code = 0x00000000

GMH Question

Looked on Microsoft's website to see what error code means. Still have no
idea.

What is the mail poll interval? 5 minutes might seem long to you but
not to Hotmail. Try for 10 minutes, or longer.
