Hotmail & Outlook Express

I need to know how to decrease Hotmail email space by
saving emails either to another program or to my hard
drive yet allowing me to retrieve those messages when
needed. Can you help by explaining how, to a novice?

Well all you have to do is drag the message to Outlook or Outlook express
folder. This way it is stored on your computer. Then in the future you
don't even have to be online to view the messages in outlook or outlook
express.
