Hotmail x Outlook

Whenever I try to download a message larger than 1mb, I get this message:

"There may be server or network problems or your timeout interval may be too
short."

I can see that the message is being downloaded but it hangs after a certain
ammout of time. As if timeout wouldn't consider the receiving data.

How can I increase timeout interval?

Just to let people know ....

I just updated my Office XP from SP2 to SP3 and it seems to have solved the
problem.
