What is the best way to update an attached file (i.e. a spreadsheet) and
forward the update to other individuals using Outlook 2003?

Open the message, then open the spreadsheet. Make your changes and then
save the changed spreadsheet. Go back to your message, select forward,
remove the existing attachment and insert your changed one.

if you open the message and double click the attachment, make changes and
save it. the changes should save to the attachment on the email -just hit
forward. you should verify the attachment has the updated information by
opening it from the forward.
