How can caps at the beginning of each line be eliminated?

My friends e-mail program (Outlook powered by Word) puts a capital letter at
the beginning of each line and she would like it to stop - I thought I could
figure it out for her, but haven't been able to so far. Any suggestions?

Word capitalizes the first word of each *paragraph* - a paragraph being
terminated, and hence a new one being started, by pressing Enter.

Word will flow text across multiple lines without you needing to press Enter
just to start a new line - so stop doing it and Word will stop capitalizing.

Go to File-AutoCorrect Options and remove the check mark from "Capitalize
first letter of sentences." that should do it.

Not necessary -

To the original poster, tell your friend to allow the sentence to wrap and
not use a hard return at the end of each line. The hard return tells the
software to capitalize the first letter after the hard return.

"After furious headscratching" huh? Are you spying on me? How did you
know...I know you have a nanny cam in my house. LOL...When I read his
question again I realize I misunderstood and you are correct. But the
furious headscratching was just too funny not to respond to. By the way I'm
covering all mirrors clocks and any where a nanny cam can hide....you stalker
you....just kidding...you know that right?
