How can I activate an email's web link to open when I click it?

When I receive an email that says "click here" or has a web link to go to
the internet I cannot open it. I get to a box that opens and reads "Locate
web browser" I don't know what to do next.

Which Vista edition? Vista Home Basic, Vista Home Premium, Vista Business,
or Vista Ultimate? Have you tried resetting the default programs and
access?
