How can I add a new page to a 4-page site created with Office 200.

I have created a 4-page web site using Word (Office 2000) and now find the
need to add another page. Is it possible to do this?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Yes, assuming your hosting service has given you enough space. Just upload
it to the net like you did the other four pages. Or do you mean you have one
Word HTML document, four pages long and you want to make it five? If so,
open what you've created already, add the page and reupload it to the Net
like you did before and it will overwrite the one that's on the Net now.

Thanks Alias - but when I try to add the fifth page the Wizard asks me if I
want to rename the files in the folder and as I don't want to rename them I
can't go any further :(

Which of the two options I mentioned is your case?

Hi again

I created a 4-page site using the Word (Office 2000) Wizard as an exercise
from a book on creating web pages by Mary Millhollon and Jeff Castrina. As I
am at present working on my own site I wanted to experiment adding extra
pages to an already existing site - problem is that when I use the wizard and
try to add another page with the same format as the existing 4 pages I get
the problem of having to rename the files or exit without success :(

Hope this explains my problem better - and thanks for your persistence

Thanks again Alias for your suggestions - in fact I have discovered the
solution after much trial and error :)
All I have to do is start the Wizard with a NEW WEb site name and use the
original files in a new folder, add Blank Page 1, rename the Blamk Page 1 to
whatever the name chosen for the added new page and - bingo :))

All the best for 2005 - happy surfing ;)

Glad you got it sorted out. Personally, I prefer Front Page over Word for
web pages.

How did you 'use the orignal files in a new folder'?

How did you 'rename the Blank Page 1'?
Did the TOC frame stay in synch?

That is how do you add or rename pages and keep the site integrity
intact?

Please explain anyone....

TIA
