how can I change a long page to multiple pages

I am using Front page 2003. I have an extremely long file that has a slow
load time. I want to break the long page up into smaller connected pages
that are numbered for navigation. How can I do this

Make multiple copies of the page, then delete progressive sections in each copy, and add links between them
