how can i change column to read a.b.c.etc and not 1.2.3.

columns reads as 1 2 3 4 as do the rows, how can i get columns to read a b c
etc making financial spreadsheet building easier?

Tools -> Options -> General and here remove marking on R1C1 reference
style.
