How can I change my folders settings & stop coming up as a "searc.

I have somehow rest all my folders to open as a search instead of just
opening the files within it immediately. They now come up as a search for
files or folders option within each and every file. UGH.
In the control panel under plain "folders" the actions listed are "explore"
and "open"...but under "file folder" it comes up as "find". I tried adding a
new action but it wont take any and restoring defualts didnt work either. How
can I change them back sop when I open the folder, the list comes up as
normal??? Please anyone who can help... my tech support folks here dont know
either... Thanks!!
