how can i change the default behaviour of UML use case shapes??

Hi

i am trying to create uml use case diagram in Visio 2007. when i try t
use the decision box by deafault the text entry option is protected.
is there a way to change deafault behavior?

When i enter text in the connector it is not visible.

Kindly help me to resolve this.

Very little of the default operation can be changed.
However, a more fundamental problem is that a decision shape is not
allowed on a use case diagram. If you think you need to do so then
either your breakdown of use cases is wrong or you are putting
irrelevant detail in them..
