How can I change the theme colours to original standard 40 colours

When creating lines or shapes in older word or excel documents there are 40
standard colours to choose from, in office 7 there is themed colours (which
are useless) and only 10 standard colours.
lot's of the colours i used (which was about 30 out of the 40) aren't there
anymore, I know I can select 'more colours' and choose from the 169 custom
ones but I don't know which of the colours they were, is there any way of
changing the themed colours to the original standard 40 colours? or any way
of bringing up the standard 40 colours?
