How can I check spelling/grammar in German with Word 2003?

I have installed the Office Professional edition 2003, but can't seem to
check grammar and spelling in German. Does anyone have an idea how to so?

The answer depends on which language version of Office 2003 you have. For
example, the English language version of Office 2003 includes proofing tools
for English, Spanish, and French; to get proofing tools in other languages,
you need to purchase the Office 2003 Proofing Tools CD (see
http://www.microsoft.com/office/editions/prodinfo/language/proofingtools.mspx
for more info). If you have one of about a dozen language versions of Office
2003 that include German proofing tools, then you just need to install the
proofing tools from your Office 2003 CD.
