Hi Jrios,

To add to Carey's reply. If the type of 'icon' you're looking to convert is for a toolbar button in Word (and you can use graphics
or photos, etc on Word toolbar buttons).

You can do that by

1. Opening the graphic in your graphic app of choice and copying it to the clipboard.

2. Open Word and choose Tools=>Customize and open the toolbar of your choice.

3. With Tools=>Customize and the toolbar open right click on a command in a menu or an icon on the toolbar you want to change.
If the 'Paste Button Image' choice is lit you can choose that
to paste the picture you copied in your graphic app and Word will scale it down to fit on the button.

I have pictures i would like to convert into icons. How can i do that? Thank

Oldies Guru

I can almost NEVER get the Paste Button Image to be anything except
grayed-out. What's up with that?

One more question: when I click on Change Button Image, I see about 15
possibilities. Where are these images stored and how can I add more images
to that little collection?

Thanks very much.
