how can i convert microsoft works database to excel

I have several files saved to disc but no longer have the original Microsoft
Works Programme to open them - They are all in .wdb format and I want to open
them in Excel

From Works, you can save as a CSV or a dBase IV file. I think Excel
will import either.... this is an Access newsgroup, and I know Access
will import either.
