how can I copy calendar items into another calendar?

I do I copy calendar items from one to another with our creating a new folder?
one calendar is used to uplink to cell phone the other calendar is
personal/shared.
I would like to merge calendars if possible is this possible?

Open the source calendar, switch to a category view, select all the items
(CTRL-A), right-click the selection and choose Copy. Specify the other
calendar as your destination.
