How can I count how many words there are?

Most processing programs seem to have an option to count the words for you.
Im writing a paper and it would be a huge help to beable to find it!

As you're kind of finding, OneNote is not a word processor, and therefore
doesn't have a lot of advanced editing features that would be found on one.

If you want to perform a word count in OneNote, your best bet is to copy the
text to be counted, paste into Word then use Word's tools to perform the word
count.
