In a high-level schematic summarizing a new invention, a control system
interacts with multiple copies of objects of different types (e.g., banks,
transaction networks, customer databases), which would typically be shown as
a labeled object on top of a stack of slightly off-set object outlines. I do
not know how to accomplish this task in Visio.
