How can I create a timeline in Visio measured in days, not dates?

I would like to create a timeline in Visio measured in days. The timeline
would show day 180...day 179...day 178 all the way to day 1. This timeline
would represnet the activities 180 days prior to a project's completion. I
would then add milestones along the way. Can you have a timeline measured in
days?

yes you can have a timeline measured in days, the challange is that the date
associated with the shape is calendar day (with the appropriate mask) and
not a negative differential. You can however code a solution to hide the
date and put whatever text you want into the shape.
