Hi,

How can I create an alarm ,happen when specific activity exceed from its
deadline,I have tried allot in custom fields to obtain specific number for
whole the column,but I was not successful.Guide me please.

What do you actually want to happen and under precisely what conditions?

The indicators column shows when specific deadlines that you have
entered will not be met. The status column shows whether or not you
will achieve the current plan. You can use the baseline fields to
detect deviation from that.

If by alarm you mean a message box that pops up if at least one task
exceeds its deadline then you will have to use VBA to scan the task list
and decide when you want it to be displayed (it will be very annoying if
this pops up every time the plan changes).

As an aside, you presumably want to generate this alarm as soon as the
plan shows that you are going to go into exception - once it has
happened it is too late.
