How can I delete a message that is stuck in my outbox?

The other day I tried sending an email with 3 pictures attatched. Apparently
it was too large. The total size was 2MB. It will not send. I've tried
deleting it but that won't work. I also tried opening it to get rid of the
attatchments but I cannot open it because apparently it has already begun to
be transmitted. This is really getting frustrating. It has been messing up
outlook for the past couple days now. I really really need some help and
fast. Thanks in advance!

Which version of Outlook? Look on the File menu and go offline, then try to
delete it. You may need to restart outlook for it to work.
