How can I display multiple months in the Project calendar view?

Hi I'm trying to print a view of my project file that shows the milestones of
each of my task on a 6 month calendar. I don't need specific dates when
things are due, just relative months. I haven't been able to change the
display view from showing one week at a time to multiple months. The only
thing it allows me to do is change the display week from 5 to 7 days.

Hi Alice818,

As you have discovered, the calendar view is very limited. To the best of
my knowledge what you are looking for is not possible within Project.

Hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

A work-around is to create a Gantt that shows only months and then
rollup only the Milestones as appropriate.
With that you could print a hard copy or use the "Copy Picture" feature
to take the schedule into Power Point etc.

Thanks Julie! I think you're right as I've been playing with it for a while.
I'll see if anybody else posts anything.

Great idea Glen. Thanks!
Do you know how to change the font size of the names once I've plotted the
milestones or do any formatting with them? I hvae pretty long milestone names
and now they're just running into one another.

Hi Alice,

I assume you have added the name of the milestone to the Gantt chart view.
Try Format > Text Styles, choose Bar Text - right (or whatever is
appropriate) and change the font size. (Although the smallest size listed
is 8 points you can type in any size smaller). To change the format of the
milestone names in the table, choose Format > Text Styles, and select
Milestones.

Hope this helps.
