How can I download active X for word 2003?

I attempted to do a update for office and keep getting a notice that active x
did not load and I did everything that was suggested and it still will not
download the active x. What should I do to accomplish this and make it work?

Try re-registering the following .dll files
Softpub.dll
Wintrust.dll
Initpki.dll
Urlmon.dll

1. Click Start >Run and type
regsvr32 Softpub.dll
Click okay to register it
You should get a dialog box telling you that it was successful.
2. Repeat the process for the other .dll files.
3. Restart your computer and try the update site again.
