HOW CAN I EDIT A PICTURE IN MICROSOFT WORD

I scanned a picture to microsoft word and i want to edit the picture but that
option is not highlighted. I want to be able to change the text on the
picture. Can anyone help

Scan the picture into a graphics editor - there should have been something
suitable supplied with your scanner's software package - and edit the
picture there. Then insert the edited picture into Word.
