How can I eliminate blank lines in Word?

B

Beebo

Microsoft Word...

I have a list of words like this...

accent
accept

access
addend

I would like to eliminate the empty lines in the list (like the one that
follows "accept").

Can anyone help?

TIA!

The usual cause, in my own experience, is two carriage returns
instead of one. Switch on "Show ¶" to see and, if so, replace
^p^p with ^p.
