How can I email a slideshow with sound

I have not been able to link/embed the sound in slide shows so that the
recipient gets the sound along with the show.

PowerPoint will only "embed" wav files, and only up to the limit set under
"Tools", "Options", "General" TAB. Everything else is linked.

If your sound files are linked, zip them up with the presentation and send the
zipped file with instructions to the recipient to unzip the files to a folder
and to play the presentation from there. To learn more about linked vs.
