How can I embed a font into web pages done in Publisher 2007?

Help! I have created a successful website in Publisher 2007 for client. Now
they want to change the font to be Avenir.ttf across all of the pages. From
reading other posts I know I need to embed it, but how? I have tried the
WEFT tool from Microsoft but it blows up everything it is going through the
initial process.

I have created the .eot file, I just need to know what to do next. I also
downloaded the beta of Publisher 2007 hoping that would have it, but I
couldn't find it.

Thanks for your help!

You don't - even with the weft tool the viewer needs to install something on
their machine, which no one will.
Convert your text to an image, if it's a limited amount of text...otherwise
forget it and stick to web-safe fonts.

and;
weft hasn't been updated in years
and;
it only works with IE
and;
it's totally confusing to implement

Rob -
I'm confused because I have seen websites that have non web safe fonts
used. Is this a limitation of Publisher? I have created the .eot file, so I
was under the impression I could add it to html code, but I'm not sure how to
do it within Publisher. Unfortunately I have eight pages of text, so
changing it to images won't work.

Thanks for your help.

IF you *happen* to have the non websafe font installed on your machine it's
not a problem...but you're viewers might not, and they're not gonna know and
if they did they're not gonna install a font just for you.

This is not a limitation in Publisher, its just the way things work. Use
web-safe fonts or risk your viewers seeing something different than you
intend.
