How can I format text in a word document to set reminders of task.

Can I set or format text in a table like renewal dates, that will send me
reminders when are going to be coming up? Any assistance would greatly be
appreciated.

Outlook is a lot better at sending reminders than is Word.

Getting a calculated date in Word is more complex than you might imagine,
but it can be done. If that is what you want. See

kinds of ways to make a date calculation work. It includes links to pages
with fields and an explanation of different macros that can be used instead
of fields.
