how can i get my CD key number if i lost the cd

i lost my dc case, and i need to reinstall WORD to my computer, i do not have
the CD key number ----do I just have purchase WORD again?

Although this isn't a InfoPath question I would recommend contacting
Microsoft if you registerd the product they may be able to help you

thank you all so much. I have been looking for an answer to this question for
a VERY long time, and on these discussion boards i finally got it. Not only
did i have to erase everything and start over, but along the way I bought a
new PC. I am so ignorant that until now i dod not realize i would need to
purchase WORD again for the new PC. Ignorance has cost me lot in my lifetime.
