How can i get my powerpoint to be compatible!!!!!!!!!!!!???????/

I took off all the effects and followed every rle in the book and the
compatibility checker still says i have 8 slides that wont work. Please help!!

Make sure you clear Word Art on all your text. Make note of the slides that
it says aren't compatible and focus on the text of those. Highlight the
text and then click the WordArt drop down and select clear Word Art.

As Glenna said and it will also help if you quote the exact message you get
when you save in an older format
