How can I get Office 2007 Beta?

You need to apply to be a beta tester. I doubt that they are accepting any
new ones now tho.

the register button to register for news of when Beta 2, which will
reportedly be a public beta, will release. You will probably be able to get
it when it is available, most likely in a few weeks or so.

I thought the TechNet plus subscribers will recieve a copy of the beta
versions in their monthy mailings. Is this not the case?

No, not until at least Beta 2 which is scheduled for sometime this month,
rumor has it. Once Beta 2 is available, it will be a public beta, meaning
that anyone can download it and try it. Check that site again to sign up to
be notified when it is available.

MSDN subscribers are normally given access to betas once the technical beta
is done but I am not sure about TechNet subs - too long since I had one.

Hi Jason,

It's possible that Technet+ will include an Office 2007 beta 2 copy, but if so, Technet hadn't yet listed it yet for a particular
upcoming shipment, but you may want to check your subscription information through http://technet.microsoft.com

Technet does have a link to sign up for notifications of betas at
http://microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/beta/preregister.mspx

Thanks for your reply. Don't get me wrong, but according to the information
about TechNet Plus subscriptions it states:

Betas!
Be one of the first to try out Microsoft operating systems, servers, and
Microsoft Office applications.

I hope that MS Office 2007 beta 2 will be part of a future monthly shipment
because I would like to help decide to have our office upgrade to it or
continue using our current programs.
