Can't post a new question for some reason.
Can you try to help me with the q i asked?
Just uninstalled and reinstalled Word and got same message of "Word is not
installed for the current user." Surely something simple is either checked or
unchecked somewhere.

thanks,
robj

I am just another user and far from expert in this area. I suggested
starting a new thread because you would get answers from people who are more
knowledgable. http://word.mvps.org/FindHelp/Posting.htm Uninstalling Word
was not something I suggested that you do.

All I can do is refer you to this page:
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/ProbsOpeningWord.htm. I don't know that
you'll find any help there.
