how can I get rid of the symbol for "hidden text"? it appears on.

When I tried to create a hidden text message, the hidden text symbol was
activated, and now it won't go away. The symbol appears on each Word
document that is new or that is sent to me for others. I have tried to pull
in co-workers to try and fix it, and no one has been successful. Any thought
would be GREATLY appreciated.

By "hidden text symbol," do you mean the dotted lines under letters? If
you're seeing these, then all the text you're creating is hidden and will
not print. You may have inadvertently altered the Normal style, and you'll
need to correct this (Format | Font: clear the box for Hidden, and click
Default..., Yes).

If, however, you mean the pilcrow (¶), you can turn off display of this and
other nonprinting characters by clicking the Show/Hide ¶ button on the
Standard toolbar. For more on this, see
