How can i get the old 48 colors in Visio 2007?

I am partially color blind. In old Visio 2003 I could hold the cursor over a
color on the FILL pulldown menu and the color name would appear. No themes,
no fancy shades, just 48 colors, 48 names. In new Visio 2007 I can not find
a way to do this. Themes are useless to me. I have resorted to creating a
Visio page (in old Visio 2003) with 48 colored boxes and their corresponding
color names. I select a color and create a custom color... every time!!
This is tedious, and quite limited. Please help. Thank you.

Hi, artifactsmusic.

How would you like to make your own theme colors?
At the bottom of the theme pane, a menu "New Theme"
may be found. Here you can make your own color set.
If you use your own theme colors, the colors on the color
pallets for line color or fill color have limited set of colors.

I agree, the old colors were far better, maybe the theme colors were
the in shades at the time, look a bit dated now though. I don't know
why they couldn't just be left alone, there are other ways to get to
the themes if you want them. And the text that pops up tint-20%,
shape-15%, what the ^%£* is that for. While on the subject of these
themes, say with the Office theme box, it's a blue box with a line
coming out and pointing to an orange box, how do you get orange
selected? What has orange got to do with the theme?

Visio 2007 is using the same Theme color picker as the rest of Office, so
the older methods are no longer available.
