how can i get the snab to grid icons in power point program

OK - (nearly) all there is to know!

To change settings - view > grid and guides
To temp. disable snap when using arrow keys - hold down ctrl also
To temp disable snap when dragging - hold down alt key also

Down at the bottom left of your screen (assuming your Drawing Toolbar is
turned on), click the "Draw" button and select "Grids and Guides".
