How to turn off graphics snap in PPT 2007???

Jon Turner

This is driving me crazy. When I try to drag the endpoint of a line to
a different place, Power Point won't let me place the endpoint where
I want it. I have snap to grid turned off and there are no nearby objects
that it should be snapping to. Is there any way to turn off all of the
automatic snapping? Please bring back "dumb graphics"; this smart
stuff is driving me nuts.

Try using the alt key while you drag - this gives you more control.

What Lucy said - plus: Make sure that Service Pack 2 for Office 2007 is
installed. It brought improvements in drawing.

Best regards,
Ute
